Danielle Gustafson is the creator and visionary behind Sacred Beginnings. She has degrees, two jobs, two kids and a serious case of wanderlust. She is a yoga educator. She is a real estate agent. She views leading Sacred Beginnings retreats as an honor, a blessing and a calling. She sees yoga in everything she does and dabbles in nutrition. Gone are the days of shoestring world travel but she gave it a good run. After nearly a decade of teaching prenatal, baby and toddler yoga, she’s held space for countless mamas through joys and challenges of motherhood. Inspired by her baby yoga mamas and her own incredibly rocky start to motherhood, Danielle is determined to hold new mamas in the loving arms of sisterhood, support and spirituality with Sacred Beginnings training retreats & classes.
Sacred Beginnings was born from Danielle’s wish for her own mothering path - a feeling of community, access the wisdom of generations of women and an array of holistic parenting practices.
After years of working with new moms, she realized that we’re all looking for the same thing: To raise our babies from our highest Self and actually enjoy the process. Sacred Beginnings is a class series designed to love and support mamas through the that precious first year while connecting them with their “village.” It’s compilation of the wisdom of many women; aromatherapists, massage therapists, nutritionists, musicians, yoga teachers, pediatric nurses, and the list goes on.
Certified at the 500-hour level, Danielle finds sharing yoga an absolute honor and none of her classes are ever the same – each guided by whim, weather, and request. She has an amazing ability to read the energy of the room and tailor the experience to exactly what’s needed in the moment. Danielle is a professional level yoga educator and has trained with world-renowned teachers including Manju Jois, Baron Baptiste and Don & Amba Stapleton. She leads advanced-level teacher trainings in Nosara, Costa Rica.
Danielle lives and reigns in St. Augustine Beach, FL and (when the stars align) Nosara, Costa Rica.
