Collecting Seeds meditation

Can you already feel the energy of Spring? Or you see nothing but Winter around you? Invite Spring, welcome it, creating #sacredrituals that honor it's energy.

Play collecting seeds with your children.
I could say there is nothing else to it, seeds are beautiful - collect them.

But actualy there is... Have you thought of the meaning behind a seed?
I believe everything in nature carries deep wisdom and is our teacher. I receive so many messages from the seeds... About hidden beauty, about Potential, about Hope, about Trust and the precious Passing of time... About the sacredness of Patience, the power of Stillness, the sweetness of Silence and the light contained in even the Darkest place.
How about you? What do seeds tell you?

Every time you eat an apple, with it's tiny seeds, or an avocado, with the smooth round seed inside, do you throw them away? Do you offer them randomly to the soil or do you plant them? Do you dry them, roast them, eat them? Do you create beautiful mandalas? Do you wear them? Keep them in your altar?
A Seed in your altar is like a fertility goddess, a symbol of Mother Earth an honoring of a #sacredpregnancy .

Create a #meditationWithChildren - no, no sitting/ mudra/ mantra required! I know how challenging that can be with young children - just go outside and look for seeds.
Choose a meaningful song to sing together or enjoy the silence.
Let them surprise you with the treasures I know they are going to find.
Let the babies play with them, feeling the softness and the sharp edges.
Bring the seeds home and help your kids creating a sacred space with them...

Seeds have so much power.
Carry poppy seeds in your handbag for luck;
Keep Anise seeds in your altar to increase your psychic abilities;
Play helicopter with Sycamore seeds...
Pumpkin seeds symbolize dreams. Invite your children to create a "protection for nightmares", collecting and painting these seeds (maybe writing some words on them) and keep them under the pillow at night.

Isn't it just magical how there is "nothing" in a seed? Nothing BUT potential.

Do you know there are sacred seed keepers?

Did you know if you put the seeds in your mouth before you plant them, Mother Nature will give you just what you need?

Today look for seeds, and love them.

Seeds are nothing but #sacredbeginnings
