Sacred practice inspiration: Bali

Do you share with your children your spiritual practice?

I never taught anything like that to my son, but as early as when he was one year old he surprised me at a Chinese temple reaching for the insense stick to burn...

He surprises me everytime he joins me chanting Ommmmm or plays yoga asanas next to me.

Children learn what they see and totally tune into our vibration.

Did you know babies see auras (actually we all do, just need to remember how)? They often do not look at people in the eyes but rather above their head for instance, and will be naturally more attracted to auras that match their mum's?

Today choose what #sacredrituals you wish to share with them (or pass to them) and get children involved in your spiritual practice.

Today get inspired by Bali's Hindu celebration of Melasti and...

Today wear white.

Today purify your sacred items.

Bathe your Buddha statue, your Ganesh, your Goddess image, your fertility amulet, your mala, your seeds.

Today take some time to go to your Sacred Space and with a pure heart  and positive intention connect with your spirits, the angels, or the Gods, watever assists your faith and honors your spiritual practice.

Today take your sacred items to the water, to the ocean or a river if you can.

Today share this ritual with your children, let them experience what sacred means do you.

Happy Melasti, Bali (and Bali lovers!).
